Seeing What is Out There...

In IARC we were asked to blog about one of our favorite "sketchblogs" here on Blogspot.  After looking through all of them and even more I found, I couldn't get away  from the creativity of Andrea Joseph's blog.  Her blog almost has a humorous style, and so do her drawings.  I like the fact that her drawings are simple but say so much.  They give you the interest to stare at them for a good 5 minutes at a time!  She sketches some of the most random everyday objects, that someone would never think interesting to draw.  The objects are almost so ordinary that they make you think twice about what you see in your house, dorm room, on the kitchen floor, or even in a tree.  One of the main things that stood out to me about her drawings, is the handwriting she uses in a lot of them.  It is fairy tale-like and reminds of when i was in Elementary school. :-)
